Task description

Write a critical analysis of Stegemann’s Learning Disabilities in Canada, Miyagawa’s A Regretful State, Dysart Gale’s Social Determinants of Social Justice and Health, or Shade’s Missing in Action: Gender in Canada’s Digital Economy Agenda. The analysis should consider how the essay’s features of structure, reasoning, and/or rhetoric help present and support the paper. The type of evidence used to support the author’s core paper and/or the effectiveness of the rhetorical strategies used to present it should be identified and evaluated. Criticisms should comment on the essay itself as a sentence and its rationale, its language, structure, organization, and the kind of support provided to support the paper. You do not express your opinion on any of the topics or subject areas discussed in the text. Rather, you are commenting on the essay as the text you want to analyze.

Remember:

1. Your essay should have a clear paper stating the evaluation of the essay you are considering.
2. You should consider the type of evidence presented by the original article.
3. You should identify the strengths and weaknesses of your original argument structure, evidence, and rationale. 4. Must identify and comment on the effectiveness of rhetorical strategies used in the essay.
4. Write in the third person.
5. Write in the present tense. 7. Proofread your essay to make sure there are no errors in grammar, punctuation and sentence structure.
6. Choose your words carefully. You must be responsible for the words you choose to express your critical response, and the consequences that the suggestive as well as the implied meanings of those words will have on your essay. 9. Documents must comply with MLA guidelines in both format and style.
