This is a digital story telling project. I have prepared my digital project which is using my smart phone and the story of this project is me adopting a kitten from Adoption centre in Melbourne, Australia.

I always loved cat and due to covid I realized how toxic is social media for my mentality. I compared with life with everything on the internet. Specifically Instagram.

I have looked on my instagram, it kind of gave me an idea of adopting a new cat. I was more than excited. So I applied online to adoption centers. (Apply some research how this digital way of adopting a pet, influenced people on adopting cats etc).

I prepared everything the day before, and I was happy on the day of the adoption.

In this part of my project I basically filmed the cat coming home, I am welcoming him. Him adjusting to the new environment. In this part apply some reading referencing related to how digital technologies help people capture their adored moments. Also, how I showed off my cat on social media and people’s reactions were so nice.

End the transcript with how happy i am that social media influenced on my getting a new family member, how happy am i to using digital technologies such as camera, phone to capture this valuable moment.
